Stefano Morandi is a Researcher for the Milano Section of ISPA-CNR. The primary research activity is focused on food microbiology, molecular biology and bio-molecules characterization. The main research topics are: characterization of pro-technological, spoilage and pathogenic bacteria involved in food products in order to improve biodiversity, quality and safety and shelf-life; and selection and characterization of lactic acid bacteria and their application in traditional and functional foods.
