Senior Researcher, PhD, biologist. Her research activity is focused on the biological activity study of natural compounds extracted/isolated from marine invertebrates, microalgae, plants, including agroindustry by-products. She focused on nutraceutical potential and health benefits of biocompounds by studying antioxidant, immunomodulatory, antiproliferative activities and the ability to modulate GJIC. Led projects on the development of new food processing and novel foods (jellyfish-based foods).
