Francesco Milano

Dr. Francesco Milano is researcher at CNR-ISPA in Lecce and previously at the IPCF in Bari. He graduated in Chemistry in 1997 and obtained the PhD in Chemical Sciences in 2001. His research area is the extraction of bioactive compounds from natural sources and encapsulation in micelles, liposomes and cyclodextrins for drug delivery applications. He has interest also in photosynthetic microorganisms both for basic science and applications like energy conversion, biosensing and bioremediation.
