The fields interest of research activity are biochemistry and molecular biology of plants species of agronomic interest. The research is oriented to the dentification, molecular analysis and functional characterization of genes coding for enzymes and transcription factors involved in the synthesis and metabolism of secondary metabolites in in-vitro plant cell tissues culture and hairy roots systems.
