Claudio Altomare

Dr. Altomare has a PhD in Plant Pathology and specialized at Cornell University in the USA. He works on biocontrol of plant diseases, biostimulants and bioactive fungal metabolites. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and has patented an antagonistic and biostimulant fungal strain. He is currently studying CoDiRO, an olive disease caused by X. fastidiosa. He has supervised several undergraduate, master and doctoral theses.
