The research concerns nutrition of plant species with the aim of improving the use efficiency of fertilizers, soilless cultivation in greenhouses as cultivation systems and as research tools for the application of treatments (e.g. biofortification), product quality, recovery and valorisation of horticultural biodiversity, post-harvest transformation of horticultural products for raw and cooked ready-to-eat products
