Dr. Miriam Haidukowski has a degree in chemistry and a PhD in safety and quality of agri-food production. Major areas of research activities are the development and validation of analytical methods for the detection of microbial contaminants, safety assessment of food and feed, the prevention and control of fungal diseases and accumulation of mycotoxins, the study of the biodiversity of mycotoxigenic species and biodetoxification of mycotoxins in post-harvest.
