I have a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology and master’s degree in Plant and Microbial Biotechnology. I have completed a post-graduate internship at the food company LBG Sicilia srl, based in Ragusa, as quality control technician. Currently I am a research fellow at the ISPA CNR in Bari within the framework of the Holifood project. The main activities are isolation and genomic characterization of food pathogenic bacteria and potentially probiotic bacteria.
