Dr. Laura Verrone, graduated in Biosafety and food quality from the University of Pisa, holds the position of research fellow at the Institute of Food Production Sciences, Bari branch. The research areas of greatest interest concern (i) the identification and characterization of the main toxigenic fungi of agri-food interest and (ii) the characterization of microbial consortia and their preservation.
