Graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, since 1994 she has been carrying out research as a researcher at the CNR at the Institute of Industrial Horticulture, which merged in 2001 into the Institute of Sciences of Food Production. She has conducted studies on water consumption, on the sustainable use of water resources in agriculture, and on techniques for improving the production and quality of horticultural species, resulting in over 150 scientific publications.
