Palmira De Bellis graduated in Agriculture Sciences cum laude at the University of Bari (Italy) in 2000 and obtained the PhD in Crop Protection at University of Bari in 2004. Since 2011, she is a Researcher at the ISPA. The principal fields of research interest are study of microbial communities associated with crops and food, study of antimicrobial activity of bacteria and development of biotechnological protocols for the production of bakery products with improved nutritional/functional value.
