He’s collaborated on national and european research projects. He has bioinformatics skills, Genomic Selection and Genome Wide Association Mapping, image analysis and spatial analysis, Machine Learning and Deep Learning approaches applied to genotipic and phenotypic data. He has implemented HPC cluster systems and parallel computing based on unix-like platforms. He is collaborating on the development and management of the database of the International Collection of Microorganisms ITEM
