Dr. Daniele Chieffi obtained his Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine (110/110 cum laude) and his PhD in Soil and Food Sciences, both at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”. He carries out research activities focused on the isolation, identification, and genetic and phenotypic characterization of foodborne pathogenic bacteria, including emerging ones, and lactic acid bacteria with potential probiotic properties.
