Main research activities of Giuseppe Cozzi have regarded epidemiological and biochemical characterization of toxigenic fungi responsible of mycotoxin contamination in agro-food products. He carried out investigations on the evaluation of toxicological risk related to the presence of moulds in cereals, dried fruit and grape derived products and also studies on microbial antagonism and their metabolites useful as bio-pesticides Currently is involved in National and International research projects
